Vivienne Cox, is Founder and Director of UK Bioscience Consultants (founded as Springwell Ltd in 2001) and co-founder of Adprotech Ltd in 1997, a biotechnology company focused on protein therapeutics and vaccines. This was a spin-off from SmithKline Beecham, where she had held research management positions in biotechnology and antiviral drug discovery. Prior to this, Vivienne held various R&D posts at Wellcome Biotech primarily focusing on recombinant protein expression for vaccines and drug targets. Her PhD is from Imperial College (London) in molecular virology. She has over 25 years experience in biotechnology R&D and management.
German partner:
Fritz Rudert, created FHR Consult in 2003. He is a molecular biologist and geneticist by training, who brings more than 18 years of professional experience in the life sciences to the table; 10 of those gained in various managerial positions in different international biotech companies. He headed research departments at Genesis Research and Development Corp. (Auckland, New Zealand), Morphosys AG (Martinsried, Germany) and Xerion Pharmaceuticals AG (Martinsried, Germany) and from 2000 to 2003 served as Director of Business Development at Xerion.
